@Kaylee_S since this is an alpha pattern versus a normal pattern you will only need three different colors but you won't cut the string. If you haven't had the chance to make an alpha yet I'd recommend checking out Masha Knots on YouTube. She has a video on you to read and make alpha patterns that I think would be super helpful! Also if you've never made normal bracelets before either she has videos for beginners too! Let me know if you are confused or need anymore help. ✨☺️
