If you look at the pattern you can see that there are rows with only f and b knots and rows with only fb and bf knots. I'm unsure how to describe it but if you always knot to the fb/bf row and only continue knotting with the next section once you've finished all fb/bf knots of that row you shouldn't run into any issues. I recommend taking a screenshot or printing the pattern out so you can draw the segments onto it.
Hmm, so I really want to make this, but I prefer segment knotting. Could someone make a tutorial, or give me a tutorial recommendation of a YouTube video?
@tamtam at the top of the pattern has a video, it's "how to make patterns" and I think it realy helped me to understand how to read a normal pattern. I hope it helps you too. (it's from Masha knots) 😊
