I used the same tutorial as @connbroo, this one can actually be made not as a one two pattern, by doing a normal chevron row, followed by a row of one two style forward backward knots and backward forward knots, depending on which side of the chevron you're on. Then repeat. I actually find that to be easier but that might be just me. Either way, beautiful pattern. I made it for my dad with great results!
