That's a great pattern @vikas_daga I really like the white surrounding the central design, really going to make it pop! Look forward to seeing the finished price.
Thanks @SimonM, my main issue is the big triangular wedges in the middle are just too different and boring, other than that I like it. I'm going to try one of the 60 or 64 string designs next, I think 197835 since no one has done it. It should be possible to make very cleanly since there are no really long straight lines and also no really tight zig-zags. Should be really pretty this one. Colors are nice.
It wasn't quite as successful as I hoped it would be but I do like it. It's made from our cheap Indian acrylic yarn just because I like the colors. I tied this one much tighter than usual, resulting in a lot of not-straight lines. The next big one I do I will go for medium tension. This took about 20 hours including preparation. The middle was for sure the hardest part to do well. The black strings were the first to get short. I had one black string replacement on the very last row of all places. I tried a new finishing approach that I wound up liking a lot. it show the strings that went into making it, but doesn't let them overshadow the actual piece.
It may go without mentioning but this is design as a single non-repeating design with a lengthwise mirroring or symmetry, design for a triangle start (hence the simple empty chevron at the start and end, which can be omitted. This was certainly the most difficult to create of any of the large patterns that I have made. I got hopelessly lost many times trying to achieve the vertical symmetry and it took about 6 hours total. I am pretty set on making it. It will be hard, lots of dots which are never easy.
