@chloe___ I have no idea. Normally I just look through my strings and try out various gradient colors next to each other to see what looks good. But if you click Add a Variation (on the website only) you'll be able to see the hex color codes. Then google a chart to convert hex codes to dmc floss numbers.
Y’all- be sure to have distinct able colors from the sand ombré and the color of the water. mine just looks like there are 3 colors. still GORGEOUS though
