i love this pattern! it's super easy and looks really good, the top of mine wasn't so neat because i tried a teardrop loop for the first time but otherwise it looks perfect!

You do the white v almost like a regular chevron, but start with a bf knot on the left edge and a fb knot on the right edge. And in the other v that forms the inside of the heart, you do two b knots on the left edge first and two f knots on the right edge first before doing a regular chevron.
