@Tanvi_J there are many ways to start patterns. Looking at the photos people have started in straight lines (the most beginner-friendly option), with triangle ends or with teardrop loops. Personally I'd go for a triangle end with the middle knot in row 8 or 16 as the tip of the triangle.
