@Tootie713 the letters are determined when putting the colours into the generator when designing a pattern. In the interactive normal generator, the first colour you use is a, the second is b, the third is c and so on. Usually it is easiest to not colour the strings in the order from left to right when designing a pattern but working in a different order.
This is such a beautiful design! I’m pretty new at this, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I know the letters at the top of the pattern represent the order of the strings. Would you mind explaining why it doesn’t start with “A”? Would it be easier if I go by color instead of letters? I’m probably just over-thinking it. Thanks in advance. I’m looking forward to making this!
