@RunHappy you basically tie on the string that’s in the image marked to be tired and the loose string. lots of people have wonderful shaped normal pattern tutorials that might explain it better

@RunHappy I'm not sure what exactly your question is, but since only one knot is skipped, the amount of loose string will be small.
