@halokiwi: Ah!! Yes, got it! I had a knot in my brain as we say in German (you know, what I mean 😉). So I will make the loop as usual, build it up until I can segment knot and there it goes. Sounds actually as easy as always, but I never divided a pattern like this.

Yes. this can be segment-knotted. You always do one diagonal on the right, then one in the middle, then one on the left.
- white, purple, white
- yellow, blue, yellow
- orange, dark green, orange
- pink, green, pink
- purple, white, purple
- blue, yellow, blue
- dark green, orange, dark green
- green, pink, green

I would just start the pattern any way you like and then you can build up on it until you are able to follow the segments.

@KrazyKnotz: I wonder if it's possible to segment knot this pattern color by color? eg first the white, then the purple, then the blue. Should be possible? But how will I start the pattern then? Otherwise I would knot it like a candystripe.
