Finished 3/31/2026! This was really fun to make, especially once I got the hang of how to segment knot it. I started the individual strings separately (which was pleasantly meditative when I got into the flow), then made the first row or two to connect them, and then went segment by segment. I was wildly mistaken about how big the finished product would be, but I'm glad it's not as big as I thought. Also proud that my edges turned out as straight as they did. And I liked how the back turned out! It's such a neat texture.

@cabeswater - I really like your pattern. I started making it pretty much as soon as I saw it. It was fun and went pretty fast. I am tempted to make another and this time make the separated part longer so that I could actually weave those to match the woven design in your pattern.
