@barneco I really appreciate your comments on all the patterns you make, very useful advice!
I especially like the tip you gave here about making a beginning loop with uneven colors and how to basically "do-si-do" them over each other on opposite sides. I've done that before and it works nicely!

I had fun making this - it knotted up quickly. Specs: started with strands at 55". This netted me 5.5" of knotted bracelet, which was 6" total including the loop and triangle bracelet. I left 4" spun tails, and ended up with 16" of waste. The black was consumed a little bit quicker than the colors.

I experimented with the start on this one. Even though it wasn't an even number of colors I accomplished a loop by just overlapping the ends of the strands on each "side" and then using the loops knots to capture those ends. For instance, in this pattern I overlapped the A, B, and C colors with the E, F, G and H colors of the other "side" and used one doubled black A string to make the loop knots and capture those ends. If you clip off the very ends of each color strand before completing the loop knots, those ends will disapear and not be visible.
