This was my first time making earrings by knotting so it was a little tricky, but I was excited to make it. Now I'm done! I used a bookmark hole tutorial for the top and added another row on one since it was smaller than the other. The color changes are many and at one point I had to take out and re-knot a row(and a half at one point) three times. Turns out I was knotting on the wrong string in one spot, so my bad. Hah! Even so, the second one was a lot quicker to make, and this pattern is really pretty! If you put the earring side by side, it's like one big picture! ❤️
I got mixed up and used 30 base strings instead of 29. If you want to make the base strings an even number that way what I did was to add an extra knot on the left side of the pattern. In the background part, the background colour and in the foam part, the foam colour. When you get to the end of it I did the three last first knots (if u know what I mean) the same colour, which in my case was the dark one. I hope that helps!! It was a really nice pattern by the way!
