@Ledbetter if u need 14 strings then u cut 7 then fold them in half so u now have 14 strings

Hey! So I very new to this site and would love some help with answering some questions I have. The first one is, on a pattern when it lists the number of strings use do you fold the string in half (ex: 7 strings =14 strands)? Also how do you know how many of each string to use?
