@BiUnicorn I'm not sure that would be enough. 🤔 I think you'd want to have at least 2 skeins available for a pattern 20 strings wide. But the 8m might be enough if you cropped the pattern shorter, maybe starting at row 21 to end on row 68 would still look nice.
I started keeping a log of how much string I use compared to how many rows/knots for the patterns I've made so I can better gage how much string I need for future patterns. It's all a learning experience! 😄

How much string is necessary for the background color? I'd like to use a sparkly rainbow that I have 8m of but want to make sure it's enough.
