My Journey into Friendship Bracelets
My first encounter with friendship bracelets took place when I was approximately 13 years old. At that time, I enthusiastically tied and gifted them to my schoolmates. Those were the days when there were no online patterns or special programs for their creation. I had to figure everything out myself, which was a fun, yet challenging, endeavor.
I started with the most basic patterns, such as knitting stripes, chevrons, and fish (like the basic knots).
