I love cheese and cats and musical theatre
Musicals I've seen so far (in London)
☻ &Juliet 8/10 my first ever musical! Super fun and I don’t really get the hate
☻Phantom of the Opera 10000/10. Everyone should see this once in their lives.
☻ Hamilton 8/10 definitely very good but not my style of musical
☻ Wicked 15/10 (I am a wicked fan)
☻ Clueless 8/10 sometimes was a bit boring but overall good high energy and enjoyed
☻ Guys and Dolls 6/10 not enough music and didn't really like the plot. However I have been cast as Nathan in my school musical so extra points for that
☻ EVITA IN LONDON OMG OMG OMG THIS WAS LITERALLY INCREDIBLE. Genuinely unlike anything I've ever seen before. It was truly spectacular!! Also a special musical for me because it was my first time stage dooring!
☻ Hercules 4/10 the muses were very good. So was the puppetry and the fight choreography. Everything else was unengaging and badly paced. It was also extremely loud and I literally cannot remember any of the songs
☻ Next to Normal (at Mountview) 10/10 truly excellent! I love Next to Normal it’s my fav musical and it was great seeing it performed by the students. I loved Owen Bradley’s take on Gabe which was bit different to Jack Wolfe (the west end actor who happens to be a Mountview alumnus!)
☻ Cabaret (with Reeve and Eva!!!) 10/10 this was an amazing musical. I really want to see it again but it’s SO EXPENSIVE. but yeah super worth my money very good I loved it. Emcee and Sally lowkey dream roles
Honourable mention to Stranger Things the First Shadow. 100000000000000/10 literally mind blowing (I love Stranger Things) I've seen it 3 times already and have to resist seeing it again. Definitely recommend. Got full marks in my GCSE drama essay about it
Another honourable mention goes to Hadestown. I wanna see it so bad and I love love love the soundtrack.
