Hii its Bean! 28yo from Canada 🇨🇦
I make handwoven string crafts; mostly bracelets, keychains, and mini wallhangings.
I am hoping to elevate with time!
I started making bracelets and other handwoven lil crafts almost 3y ago.
I've never been the most artistic person (despite loving to try) but when I picked this hobby up, it clicked so fast! It was definitely my "artsy awakening" moment! I've grown to love it as a hobby soo much! I'd love to meet more crafty people in this space which is why I've decided to be active here😇💜

Themes I like to work on the most:
1. Nature themes (sakura/cherry blossom themed anything is especially fave since I'm half Japanese 🌸)
2. Animal themes (really biig love for cat patterns🐱)
3. Food themes (especially fruits!)
4. Things relating to my fave media (movies, anime, music, video games)
5. Seasonal themes (especially fall and spring themes)
I'm always open to making other themes as well. Since I do sell my crafts, I am always more than happy to make a theme that OTHER PEOPLE feel personal to, enjoy, or can display their self expression 💜

As mentioned I do sell my crafts! My store is on Ko-fi, called Hafu Handmade Creations!
I sell pre-made, made-to-order, as well as commission offers!
Feel free to check it out if you'd like! (If you also have a ko-fi store i will give you a follow back too!)

Quick (semi related) storyline about deciding my store name: the word "hāfu" is a Japanese word to formally describe someone that is half Japanese. I have always had such a special love for my Asian background, and my friends sometimes call me "hāfu Bean" (obvs in a loving and celebrating way). I also obviously knew I wanted to emphasize my crafts being HANDMADE...The name randomly popped up in my head, and it clicked and I loved that...because I think it was a great way to show my love for my identity🌸💜

Thank you to whoever read this far!!
I am excited to share many finished projects with you all, see and learn from other wonderful crafters, and connect with other creators! 💜
(P.S. my "LOVES" section represents my "completion list")
