I started making bracelets when I was 12, back in the days when there was no internet and you learned to knot from your friends, each new pattern was a sensation, alpha bracelets where completely unknown in my circle of knotting friends and only very occasionally along came a book with beautiful new ideas (my favourite then and still now being
Echt coole Freundschaftsbänder by Sigrid Hennke).

I am now... a couple of years (decades) older and making bracelets never ceased to be fun 🙂
I joined this site in 12/20 and am still amazed at the wealth of amazing new patterns to explore!
