Hey there, all you friendly, creative, talented bracelet & craft lovers!
I'm somewhat of an anomaly in this milieu, in that I'm 54 years old (yikes!!🤯😂) ...which makes me at least 35 years older than the average age on this site.😜
Please don't let that freak you out (lol😂); at heart, I'm just like you younger folks on here, I share some of the same interests (especially designing & making bracelets along with many other creative & artistic endeavors), and most importantly, I can absolutely relate to many of you. Remember, I was a teenager too! And then a college student, a grad school student, & so on. I've just been around for a while longer since then. 😉😂
I learned to make basic friendship bracelets (candy stripes) at about age 13 from a friend, & then figured out how to do chevrons & diamonds on my own through trial & error. There weren't any books or instructional videos for bracelet-making back in those days, no such thing as patterns for bracelet designs, & certainly no such thing as the internet.
My recently renewed interest in making bracelets was inspired by my wonderful niece, who then joined this site as well. Her username is @Tealmango7 and she's super cool & friendly so check out her profile! 😊❤️
I originally discovered & joined BB to find cool bracelet patterns to make for my niece (mission accomplished), but I also helped her learn how to read patterns, convinced her to get on this great site, and within just a few months she did all of the above and even started designing patterns of her own! (Can you tell I'm a VERY proud aunt??) Lol 😂❤️ That was when she was 13; however she's now in college with much more on her plate so she's no longer as active on here. She still enjoys making bracelets when she can, though!
So anyway, I'm guessing I've already exceeded the character limit here if there is one (and if there isn't, admin will probably now implement one because of me 😂)...and I'm CERTAIN I've already exceeded the attention span of 99.9% of people who started reading this. Hahaha! Yep, that's me. 🙈😂😂 Take care, all. 😎❤️✌

I'm sorry if I'm unable to acknowledge & thank each of you individually in the comments below the pattern; I would like to do so, but with 1,500+ patterns & not a lot of spare time each day, I have a hard time keeping up. But please know that I do see every photo you post, & I appreciate the time & care you've put into making your bracelets immensely!!
