@Annie-L it's called a shaped bracelet. It's the same technique you'd use for triangle ends. I'm not good with explaining this but MashaKnots on YouTube has a good video on shaped bracelets.
@kraftykat I don't know. I'd do as many as you need to comfortably wrap it around your wrist. When I'm making a bracelet I just check if it's long enough once I get to a certain length.
