Finished 9/9/2025! My first shaped bracelet! This is such a cute design; it's great practice for forward and backward knots and it comes together super quick. I made about 3in before I realized the base string isn't supposed to show through. I tried pushing the knots together with a yarn needle, but gave up and untied the whole thing except for the first two knots. It took longer to untie than to remake. I don't know why I made the first braided end so short, so I had to make the other tie longer to compensate. It still ties just fine. The final product is really thin, it looks delicate but it's sturdy (but maybe that's just because I tie my knots really tight). This pattern would work well if you wanted to add seed beads to it, and a bunch of them would look super cute as a stack.
