@Nocanifol you should be able to tell that before starting the pattern 🙂 There are left out knots on the left side, so of course you are going to need less string there.
I'm sorry, if this pattern upset you in any way. I did not find it necessary to give a warning beforehand about the strings on the right side being used more, because to me it seemed really obvious.
You can generally tell which strings will run out faster. If a string does lots of knots like the second to last string, it will run out a lot faster. If a string makes less knots like the last string, it will run out slower. Most patterns are not balanced, so it is always good to have an eye on that, but I understand that it can come surprising as a beginner.
