I made three extra knots between the foxes then the pattern says, I also did a backwards knot on the second orange knot of row five. About four heads in I realized one set of orange strings was getting used up fast, the connector one, I switched it with the other orange string to prolong the bracelet! Competed using the chevron style of knotting.

In a chain bracelet like this one, the unused strings are hidden in the chains.
If you are unfamiliar with chain bracelets, I recommend looking up a video on the daisy chain bracelet #76616.
I see that one is already in your to-dos.

I don’t understand, do the black and white string just get left until the next fox on the bracket? Like down the middle or are they knotted in with the rest of the oranges down?

I recommend doing the fb/bf knots in lines 9 - 15 with the black string 🦊
