Well, it's been a long school year. And I don't know about you all, but school keeps me really busy. But in the end, summer comes around again, and I finally have enough time to bust out that embroidery floss stash underneath my bed and start knotting again. But in the time we've been knotting less, I don't know about anybody else but... I think we've ended up with a LOT of to-dos, especially with so many amazing patterns on this website. So this summer, let's do it. Let's clear out those to-dos, make some amazing bracelets, bookmarks, wallhangings, keychains, whatever size you choose and however many of them you choose to make. This is the second year I've hosted this challenge, so for those of you who have been here before--welcome back!!! It's great to have you all back! And for those of you who weren't here last year--welcome! The rules are gonna operate the same as last year. So let's get to it!!DATES: The challenge this year will go from June 10th to September 10th (3 full months once again, the timeline is just slightly more pushed back than last year since I may or may not have just remembered that I should start this like at least a week in advance) WHAT IS THIS CHALLENGE: The idea of this challenge is that you set a goal for yourself of how many bracelets/keychains/wallhangings/other knotted projects you want to complete before you go back to school. the goal is entirely up to you, if you're not feeling it's gonna be a huge bracelet-making summer or you're going to be making a bunch, set your goal according to what you think you can accomplish--or what you want to push yourself to accomplish. PRIZES: Accomplishing your goal will result in a shoutout on my profile until summer of 2025, a friend request, and 5 star ratings on 5 of your patterns! HOW TO KEEP ME UPDATED ON BRACELETS: In the corner of photos for the challenge, please put the name of this challenge and what number that is out of your goal so I can see your progress! In this forum, please let me know about every 10 or so bracelets that way I can keep your count updated (I'll try to be more organized about it this year) as well as see your amazing progress! Last year I LOVED all of the creations I saw. I can't wait to see more! - An extra note, bracelets you make for other challenges DO count towards your goal!!!! AN EXTRA STAT FOR MOTIVATION: Last year out of everyone who joined this challenge, we together made 272 knotted creations. Let's work together and try to make EVEN MORE THIS SUMMER!!! So, if you want to join, please let me know your goal down below. Any bracelets that are made before June 10th will NOT count towards the competition, but any that are made on or after that date (and before September 10th) WILL count towards the competition. If you have any questions, please be sure to let me know and I will clarify!!! I'll tag everyone on the start date (June 10th) and we will kick off! Hey! I’ve been here last year (but only a bit because I got in a bracelet slump last summer 😭), and I’ll love to join this time and try to make more creations! (promise I won’t be getting in a slump again 😅). And btw, I have the same question as @bonnibands, because i’m not sure what my goal to be yet; i’ll let you know sometime today though (:
