My dream pet is a cat, sadly there aren’t many cat normal patterns so I’ll do 101808 (my favorite stuffy since I was 3 has been a turtle), 152369, and 146843. (I’ll let you know at the end which one will be my primary entry)

Good Morning! I don't have any pets currently. I've been watching a lot of turtle videos on YT ("Garden State Tortoise") recently, dreaming about how much fun it would be to build a turtle pond if I lived in a place where I could have a yard. 💜🐢 I thought I'd do a turtle design. I had already done the beach turtle from last round, so was looking to do a box turtle, for a change of pace. There does not seem to be a pattern already. Therefore, I figured it would be a good opportunity to learn the pattern maker! I drew up a design in Illustrator, manually converted it into pixels, and am now trying to figure out how the strings work. This is hard! I've asked for advice from Reddit if you want to check out what I've been doing: https://www.reddit.com/r/friendshipbracelets/comments/1kqcyim/advice_on_making_patterns_on_braceletbookcom/ Might have to default to something simpler, but I just wanted to share my effort & progress. If anyone has additional advice on making normal, asymmetrical patterns on the pattern maker I'm all ears! Thanks! |

I'm going to attempt #190164 by halokiwi. I have to combine some embroidery floss with some crochet thread because I don't have enough skeins of some of the colors in floss, and don't have enough colors in the crochet thread.... We'll see how it goes 😜
