Top o' the mornin' to ya and thanks for taking a look at my first ever challenge! 👋St. Patrick's Day celebrates the Roman Catholic feast day of the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick died on March 17, 461. Over time it became a large celebration of things Irish and now its celebrated in more countries than any other national festival! How about we celebrate it here too? This is a very simple challenge, just make any pattern that somehow relates to this holiday! I'll also be accepting just a normal green creation but keep in mind that the ones which have actual symbols (clovers and others) will have a better chance at winning! Every participant will get a shoutout in my bio until March 17th, 2026! As for the other prizes, they go like this : ~1st place🥇 : 5 star rating on 17 patterns, variations on 5, friend request and I'll make one of your patterns! ~2nd place🥈 : 5 star rating on 10 patterns, variations on 3, and a friend request ~3rd place🥉: 5 star rating on 5 patterns, variation on 1 and friend request (If someone gets a prize and they dont have that many patterns we can always discuss a differnet prize! I hope that way everyone can get something that suits them! ❤️ ) I'll be picking the winners mostly based on the following : ~the pattern respects the theme (as I said before, symbols > green); ~neatness of the edges and knots; ~difficulty of the pattern (that includes the number of strings); ~starts and ends. Rules : ~You can combine this challenge with other ones; ~Putting the name of the challenge on the photo is very appreciated but not mandatory; ~Comment when your photo is accepted; ~You can submit more than one entry but you can only get one prize overall. DEADLINE IS MARCH 16TH BUT EXTENSIONS ARE POSSIBLE IF ITS A VALID REASON! Let us all finish our creations by the day and wear them then! ❤️ Can't wait to see everyones entries! Good luck! 🍀🍀 |

P.S. I recommend using keywords such as 'clover' 'irish' 'shamrock' and maybe even 'luck' instead of just St. Patrick! ❤️(I'm happy to help if someone is struggling to find patterns!) |
