Welcome to the witchy/magical challenge! This is basically about celebrating witches and magic because why not; they're cool. For this challenge, you will choose one of the listed patterns and make it to the best of your ability.The judging will be based on things like neatness, color combos, edges/edge styles, and ties/shaped ends if you choose to do those. Anyone can join; just let me know that you're joining and which pattern you'd like to do. Make sure to put "Witchy/Magical Challenge 2025" in your photo, and let me know when you've finished. Excellent, Thanks! I just uploaded my photo, waiting for approval. This was a great challenge for me. It is the most complex, longest pattern I've attempted. I am really excited about the extra knots I added at the beginning. The way I'd seen teardrop loops described is to cut a triangle *into* the pattern (if that makes sense), but I didn't want to cut into the first moon. I drew extra knots onto the copy of the pattern I have, and tried to just fill in the triangle spaces with the background blue, and I think it worked! Thanks a ton for hosting the challenge, It's been a lot of fun 🙂 |
