CHAPTER THREE
@Axolatl
School’s out for the day, and you are sitting on your dorm room bed, chatting with your roommate, @braelyn_ro. They’re super nice, and you find that you have a lot in common. You’ve both dreamed of coming to the best school in all of BraceletBook since you were little, and you’d both had older siblings who had been sent to this same school. As you are talking, you think that it is a possibility that your siblings both went on a quest together a long time ago. You both know that getting chosen for a quest is almost impossible, you have to be the best of the best, but you secretly hope that one day you will get chosen. That’s when you get an announcement on the intercoms: “Hello, BraceletBook Academy! I’m Mrs. Threads and I will always be in the front office if you need anything. We’ll be having a school meeting at 8:00 PM. I know a lot of you are curious about quests, which you may have heard of through past students or older siblings. We’ll get into greater detail about quests at the meeting, but for now just relax, and enjoy your day!”
You look at the clock sitting on your dresser. 4:32. There are still a couple hours left until the meeting, so you and @braelyn_ro decide to go with a group of the other new kids to play volleyball at the school’s sports area. You, @canada_eh, and @amayab are one team. Whoever scores the most points wins! (Make as many bracelets as you can in one month, tell me what all of the pattern numbers are, and whichever team gets the most points wins! An Alpha pattern is worth two points and a normal pattern is worth one.)

@amayab
School’s out for the day, and you are sitting in some comfy bean bag chairs hanging out with your roommate, @Hunter_K. They’re super nice and they start talking about “quests” that you get sent on if you do well enough in classes. You’ve never heard of them, as you just recently moved to BraceletBook from a different country. They tell you about how you get to go look for different things that you can put on bracelets. Keychains, beads, clamps, etc. Sometimes the quest even involves looking for thread to make bracelets. @Hunter_K tells you all about how the supplies you get sent on a quest for can be magical. It all sounds really exciting! You are in the middle of asking a question about the so-called “magical thread” when the intercom beeps. “Hello, BraceletBook Academy!
You’re super excited to learn about the quests, because you have tons of questions, but it’s only 4:32. You and your roommate hear a group of kids talking outside your door about playing basketball. You decide playing a sport sounds like fun, and go around asking some of the new kids if they want to play volleyball. Everyone agreed, and you all headed out to the volleyball court. You were on a team with @canada_eh and @Axolatl. (Make as many bracelets as you can in one month, tell me what all of the pattern numbers are, and whichever team gets the most points wins! An Alpha pattern is worth two points and a normal pattern is worth one.)

@canada_eh
School’s out for the day, and you are sitting on your dorm room bed, scrolling through your phone. Suddenly your roommate, @Clever_Cat comes into the room and jumps onto their own bed. You both start chatting about your classes and you learn that @Clever_Cat is interested in animals. You get to talking about your own dog at your home, and they tell you about their three dogs. After you finished talking, you sat for a few minutes in silence. Then suddenly the intercom beeps, and a voice enters from the hallways: “Hello, BraceletBook Academy! I’m Mrs. Threads and I will always be in the front office if you need anything. We’ll be having a school meeting at 8:00 PM. I know a lot of you are curious about quests, which you may have heard of through past students or older siblings. We’ll get into greater detail about quests at the meeting, but for now just relax, and enjoy your day!” You keep scrolling through your phone and eventually find a section on the school website about “Quests”. They’re supposedly really important, and only some of the best students get to go on them. You and @Clever_Cat start chatting about quests for a few minutes and are interrupted by someone knocking on your door. You open it to find @Hunter_K and @amayab. They invite you and @Clever_Cat to come play volleyball with them, and you guys accept the offer. You, @Axolatl, and @amayab are on the same team. (Make as many bracelets as you can in one month, tell me what all of the pattern numbers are, and whichever team gets the most points wins! An Alpha pattern is worth two points and a normal pattern is worth one.)

@Hunter_K
School’s out for the day, and you are sitting in some comfy bean bag chairs hanging out with your roommate, @amayab. You guys have been chatting about the “quests” the school sends some of the students on. @amayab has never heard of quests, so you have a great time telling them all about it. They are asking another question about magical thread when the intercom goes off: “Hello, BraceletBook Academy! I’m Mrs. Threads and I will always be in the front office if you need anything. We’ll be having a school meeting at 8:00 PM. I know a lot of you are curious about quests, which you may have heard of through past students or older siblings. We’ll get into greater detail about quests at the meeting, but for now just relax, and enjoy your day!” You look at the LED clock sitting on your desk and see that it’s only 4:32. You hear voices outside your door that are talking about playing basketball. @amayab suggests inviting some of the other new kids to play volleyball, so you go around from door to door asking if they want to play with you guys. Once you convince them to play, you split out into teams of three. You, @braelyn_ro, and @Clever_Cat are on the same team. (Make as many bracelets as you can in one month, tell me what all of the pattern numbers are, and whichever team gets the most points wins! An Alpha pattern is worth two points and a normal pattern is worth one.)

Everybody:
I'm deciding to give each chapter a month from now on, that way everyone has plenty of time to complete the challenges. So, you have until April 30th, 11:59 PM in Mountain Daylight Time. Have fun!!! 🎉 ❤️ 🔥

@Axolatl, okay! They all turned out amazing. Remember, the more you do the more points your team gets, so feel free to do as many as you like.
@amayab Those are great patterns! I can't wait to see how they turn out.

@Hunter_K
Yes, you can make multiple of the same if you want to! They'll all be worth their own points. For example if you make the same Alpha 3 times it will be worth 6 points.

I didn’t finish the second one, am I allowed to just skip it since I didn’t have a story? I know you gave me an extension, I’m sorry about that

@braelyn_ro, yes it's fine if you didn't finish the Second Chapter. It's okay if you weren't able to finish even with the extension, and you don't need to be sorry. I know everyone gets busy so you're fine. Just do this Chapter and this time you'll have a lot more time to finish so hopefully you get it done this time!

@braelyn_ro
I didn't think of that! I might not do it for this challenge, but perhaps there will be a different challenge where we do that. Good idea though!

wait I’m so confused, so if I make a bracelet for another challenge I can’t count it towards this as well?

@braelyn_ro, if you make a bracelet that's for a challenge that isn't one of the Chapters of The Bracelet Quest, you can count it. What I meant is that you cannot use the same bracelet you made for Chapter One and Two for points in this challenge, unless you make a new one.

@braelyn_ro
Basically if you are in another challenge, let's say a seasonal challenge and your theme is Easter. If you make a pattern for that, you can count it for both challenges, I won't mind.
