hi all! before i get into the rules, teams, and themes i just wanted to let you know that this challenge has started and unfortunately, only the people listed below will be able to participate in this showdown. however, you may message me if you want to be notified of my next challenges. for now, i have a “raid my to-dos” challenge up so please go check it out!to the members of the challenge: the teams i made are based on the photos that allf of you have posted (so i can see your knot quality), your rank, and the time in which you signed up. i tried to make them as fair as possible. THE RULES: there will be two rounds to this challenge. the first round is with teams, and the second round will be individual. in this round, you will be paired with another knotter, and you will both have to coordinate together to make a similar bracelet, keychain, bookmark, or wall hanging. you can make the same pattern as your partner, or you can make a pattern that has two parts and both of you make a part. really, whatever you come up with, will be accepted since i’m judging on teamwork/creativity as well. in the end, after 12 days (the time i’m giving all of you to finish your pattern, you will get an additional 2 days to get your photo accepted if needed), i will choose the top 3 teams to move on to the final round (more rules to come for that once we get there). your final team score will be based on knot quality, photo quality, teamwork/creativity, and level of the pattern (for example, more complicated patterns will get more points, however, neatness is also a big factor). now onto the teams!! team 1: @rae_13 @Sfougaraki your theme will be winter! team 2: @bsoftball @Alexa11101 your theme will be colorful! team 3: @skittlesss @rosemobder your theme will be movie/tv show (you could also do movie/tv show characters)! team 4: @sadynmph @nxg4 your theme will be aesthetic! team 5: @Godluvsu @taylork_6 your theme will be blue! (as in the color) team 6: @sugarknots @zoeyllm your theme will be fruit! team 7: @leila03 @isabellas your theme will be disney! team 8: @Mirabelle_ @euni your theme will be geometric! thank you all for making this challenge such a success, i can’t wait to see what you come up with!! when talking to your partner, you can either message them privately or talk on here. Quick Question, Like I have the theme Movie/tv show, in the pattern does movie have to be one of the keywords? Thanks <3

@skittlesss not necessarily. for example, if you wanted to make a riverdale pattern, riverdale does not even have to be one of the keywords, you could just make a cherry pattern (since cheryl’s icon symbol is a cherry). does this make more sense? basically, if u interpret that theme in a way a didn’t think of, it might just mean more creativity/ teamwork points for u 😉
