Recently I have seen a lot of people 'rage rating' my patterns. Rage rating is when people rate multiple of one user's patterns by 1 star. It can be very confusing and can ruin the viewability of a perfectly fine pattern. I have seen this happen to other people and I know I'm not alone in it. One of the common causes of rage rating is when people think that someone 'stole' a pattern. If you do think that someone stole a pattern it would be helpful if you could private message them about it instead of rating their pattern by 1 star. If you are someone who has been doing this I kindly encourage you to think about what impact this may have on the user, their pattern and anyone else involved. If you would like to support people who have been effected by rage rating I would encourage you to sort patterns by rating and go to the back. In case you are curious, my patterns that have suffered from rage rating include: #37657 #36059 #35307 #35475 #35371 #35066 #37565 #35715 #35700 #35631 #35040 #35960 As you can see this is a huge fraction of my patterns. Thanks for bringing this up! I have seen this. Some amazing patterns have like 50.00% rating all because some people weren't being nice. I think that people should rate patterns based on how they feel about the pattern and not how they feel about the user. If you do not like a user because they were rude to you, you should private message them about it instead of going to the pattern and rating it badly.

sometimes people do rate patterns lowly on accident @awesomelgk so it is good to keep that in mind. but it is true that sometimes people are deliberately eating patterns badly 😕

@awesomelk I think that when that happens, the person who did it should contact the person who made the pattern so they are not offended.

@awesomelgk What I mean by that is when someone acidentally rates a pattern 1 star, they should let the pattern maker know it was an accident. sry, I wasn't very clear.

oh I get what you mean @writergirl . I have seen numerous people on patterns saying if they misclicked and I feel that others should too. I just hope it was a misclick on my pattern 🙂

wow, i can't belive this! the same thing just happened to me! someone rated 23 out of 31 of my patterns one star because they say that I "changed my age" on braceletbook which is totally not true!! how frustrating...

my patterns affected were #34006, #34011, #34086, #34183, #34185, #34186, #34192, #34203, #34204, #34205, #34325, #34381, #35028, #35031, #35033, #35072, #35467, #35474, #35521, #35985, #35988, #37383, and #35988. any help is appreciated but totally not required... thank you!! 😊
