a bit random perhaps, but does anyone here have experience with making a bracelet or keychain or some sort of creation out of sewing string? sounds a bit crazy perhaps but i have those d-ring keychains, and want to make a patern with quite a lot of strings, and that won't fit with my usual strings... so i was wondering if anyone already tried, without me having to find out myself while halfway in a pattern breaking strings 😅 ... so in short, does anyone have experience with this, and will the knots turn out okay and legible enough? thanks in advance!! 🙂 |

I haven't, but in addition to the risk of breaking, the proportions of your pattern would also be affected if you only replace the base strings but not the leading strings.Instead, I would just make it shaped: https://www.braceletbook.com/tutorials/130_shaped-keychain-tutorial/ |
