I was looking for cross stitch patterns and found this site by accident and I LOVE it! 😍 I see how one can find the colors used through "add a variation" but the numbers do not look familiar to me. 🙈 (I use DMC.)Thanks everyone! |

The numbers are in hex code. Hex code is one of three methods used to describe colours that are displayed on web pages.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_colors Different screens show colours differently, so the colour on your screen might look different to the colour on someone else's screen. In addition to that the number of different colours using hex code is 16.777.216, way more colours than there are different colours produced by any thread manufacturer. To figure out close string matches to the hex codes, google "hex to dmc" or whichever brand you are using and you should find something. |
