depending on the alpha pattern, you might want to try and make it into a 1212 pattern (use mostly fb and bf knots!)

Option 1: the appearance of the pixel art is not changed and appears tilted in the normal pattern Option 2: the pixel art is changed to appear upright in the normal pattern -> this requires some creative decisions from you For both options you might need to make adjustments to make it possible. Normal patterns are very limited in what is possible and what isn't compared to alphas. You can always turn a 2-colour alpha into a normal without any issues. You can make it a 1212 pattern. This means the string order is abababab... and the knots are only fb and bf. This leads to every string staying in its original position. Since the strings alternate, every knot can have either colour. Do you have a specific pattern in mind? Do you want the first or second option? |
