Can I wash my bracelet?

Idk where to ask it... Is it available to wash bracelets? Wouldn't knots destroy? Wouldn't threads destroy? Wouldn't it lose brightness of colors?I use average cotton macrame threads and I think it isn't supposed to destroy from washing (without any additions, only water). Haven't you try to do it? Is it a good idea? |

About once a fortnight, I'll put every unsold bracelet I've got into a big mesh bag and wash the lot of them on a gentle cycle. Gotta keep them presentable and maybe even fresh smelling for prospective customers.As I tell those who purchase the wares while I tie them onto their wrists or ankles: don't be afraid to get it wet or dirty. They're not supposed to last forever. When it finally *does* break, we make a wish on it. And then to come find me again so I can supply them with another. 👍 |
