does anyone else have restrictions? i know my passcode so i can basically do whatever except abt two weeks ago my mom found my snapchat acct and i had to delete it. and she changed a setting on her phone (we have family sharing on the app store). and now i can’t redownload any social media (or any app in general) without “asking for parental permission”. does anyone know how to turn it off? it’s honestly sad that she feels like she can’t trust me with social media considering im in high school, A honor all student, and don’t do anything bad in general. i’ve tried talking to her and she basically said that she trusts me, but she obviously doesn’t. i also tried talking to her abt how i feel like i can’t open up to her and cant tell her anything and she pretty much said “that’s not her problem” i just need to gain her trust even tho ive never even broke it before this whole situation. (she’s the same way, super controlling with my brother who is turning 20 soon) it’s genuinely so sad pls helppp |

I Am 17 and haven’t really had social media before, I’m not super active online, my parents have restrictions on my phone but it’s always been that way ever since I first got my phone at age 9, there isn’t really a way to turn it off that I know of without your parents permission, personally I am okay with having restrictions because it gives me a sort of accountability with what I do online. But I can totally understand feeling like she doesn’t trust you, I guess just try and show her that you are responsible not just online but in general, I know that the more I take responsibility for myself and what I do the more my mom trusts me, hope this was helpful! ❤️

I’m almost sixteen and my parents won’t let me have a phone. I have a laptop, but my dad monitors EVERYTHING on it. This time last year (I wish I could remember how) I glitched it on my sister’s acc and I could use it with no restrictions or time limits until she ratted me out. I’ve earned three hundred dollars and going to buy my on phone in two weeks. Does anyone have any ideas on how to hide a phone? I’ve set up the whole ‘carve a rectangle in a thick book’ but I need backups and backups for my backups
