at the beginning of the school year my hair was completely blonde. at around thanksgiving time i went back brunette with quite a few blonde highlights. a few weeks ago i went back to my natural dark brunette color. and all the girls tell me i look great and that it was a good decision. and all the boys tell me i looked better blonde and that i should go back. i swear boys just like blondes and girls like whatever suits you best 😭 what’s are y’all’s experiences with hair color? |

i'm somebody who dyes my hair... a LOT.as in I'm the one who changes hair colors every month or so! I'm thankful to be a natural blonde, so I'm able to do darker shades of most colors, and with just my natural blonde (I have like level 7 ish hair naturally) I was able to do blue, pink, orange, and even what was SUPPOSED to be maroon (I mixed purple and red and it turned a touch pink, but in natural lighting it was like a reddish purple berry color) It Most recently I bleached my hair a couple levels lighter (now I'm at a level 9, almost 10) and did galaxy hair, which is mostly purple but also has streaks of pink and blue in it! It's faded out and this weekend I think I'm going to dye it a two-toned blue where half my bangs and the front streak of my hair is going to be a dark blue and the rest will be a lighter blue. I love experimenting with colors and hairstyles, my hair is truly how I express myself. I swear that what boys say doesn't matter haha. ur true friends and people who actually care about you aren't gonna find what you do with your hair super consequential. I have a couple of people that I have to interact with on my track team that ask me near every day why I don't go back to my natural blonde. They're just haters I think haha. Do what your heart tells you to. That's how I pick my next hair color--one time my heart told me to do an orange to pink ombre, and an orange to pink ombre is what I did. It's all about what makes YOU happy and what YOU want to do. That being said--I definitely look better in cooler colors, like purples, blues, cool pinks, but that didn't stop me from doing orange or red or any other colors. Again, follow your heart ❤️ |

I've never dyed my hair! I have naturally medium brown hair and have thought that my entire life... but then over the summer a LOT of people were telling me I was blonde? So now I'm kind of confused lol. (My profile picture is not a good reference, the lighting was rlly dark and it was from 3 yrs ago)

I dyed my hair a bunch in middle school so I’ve done red, pink, dark blue, teal, and purple. I eventually dyed it back to brown for my cousins wedding and since then I’ve just kept it. My hair is a lighter brown color with some more red-orange undertones and I just haven’t felt like changing it again

I have never dyed my hair I have been wanting to dye the ends blue but my mom won’t let me she has this thing with my hair she wants me to never cut my hair or dye it but I really wanna do it and she just won’t budge oh and also my hair is jet black it’s so pretty and looks like it has a blue tint to it in the sunlight

I have always had my natural brown hair, though I have always wanted to try the two toned bangs ( like Jennie of blackpink lol 😂). Unfortunately school does not allow dyed hair so maybe when I’m older. I’m also very worried about changing my hair because I feel that my hair is a large feature for me, so I’m kinda apprehensive. ❤️

I've dyed my hair quite a lots especially in the past 5 years, did pretty much every color but when I got my hair cut to short on top and long bottom (jellyfish then I cut the top shorter) i enjoyed doing longer hair dyed only mostly in blue and pink as stripes of half/half

I've never dyed my hair, but due to sun and just my natural hair color, if i were to dye it, i'd probably just make it the same brown as the under layer of my hair, because at the surface it's like brown/blonde with orange tones 😭 For reference, I'm a dark bronde, but my hair looks different than all the google photos cuz I think most of those are dyed.

I dye my hair every summer with semi permanent dye, last time I dyed my hair pink, and that stayed in for almost a year. One time I tried to dye my hair blue and it turned out gray. I'm currently trying to convince my parents to let me use bleach so I can make it a vibrant blue. 🤞
