Hi guys, this is a place where you can share stories of some of your most delusional moments. I’ll start, I had this girl in my class and I called her my best friend in all seriousness not necessarily knowing if she felt the same but I wouldn’t have said it if I weren’t sure that she liked me a lot and that we were close. So ok I called her my best friend to people never really thinking about it until I said it to her friend (who became her best friend later on) and when I said it I asked “she likes you more than me though, why” and she literally responded “ well you really hurt her and she’s upset”. I literally knew nothing about that and I was so embarrassed cuz the girl I called my best friend didn’t even like me. And I call her my close friend now but it’s a bit of a stretch tbh. So yeah that’s my story |

And adding to that I got unofficially kicked out of school and when I came to visit I was expecting and imagining her to like run up to me and be excited and she just said hi and continued walking. So yeah my delusions are staying strong for this girl.

Oh geez I'm so sorry dude. That must've sucked.But mine isn't NEARLY as dramatic or probably even as delusional but I saw dinner cooking and it looked like chicken...I knew that it was carnitas (pork tacos. PORK) but my brain didn't register that it couldn't be chicken if it was carnitas so i legit thought, kind of subconsciously, that we were having chicken tacos...ALL THROUGH DINNER. And I said something about how it was really good chicken and my parents were like, girl it's PORK So I might be semi-delusional lol |

Oh my god that reminds me of when my baby brother had pasta and I was dead sure it was chicken and since I keep kosher I was confused as to why it was put in the diary microwave and I thought we’d need to get a new one. Turns out it was just regular pasta

I'm delusional enough that I continue trying to convince myself that my crochet items will sell at a GARAGE SALE, that I won't be stressed doing robotics, track, and taking 2 aps next year (then 5 aps junior year and then like 6 senior year) and everything will be fine and great

Delusional enough, I suppose, that for most of my life I genuinely thought that WII was an internet/electric appliance company. I remember being so confused when one of my siblings got Wii pajamas for Christmas because, 'why would someone give a kid pajamas with an internet service logo on them?'🤨 I'd seen Wii games at my library but it never FULLY registered in my brain until my brother got one 2-3 years ago. I still find it funny.😹 (for anyone like me who might not know, a Wii is a Nintendo gaming console that released in 2006.) |
