I made lots of daisy chain bracelets and #150 for my friends for christmas and they loved them! They are both fairly quick to make but also look very cute, which was ideal when I was making lots. I've also made alpha keyrings with people's initals on them which is another really nice gift. I used a cross stitch pattern for the keyrings when I was only doing a single letter, because I wanted the letters to be about 14-18 stitches across and I couldn't find any that I liked on braceletbook This is the pattern I used & it's completely free to download! https://www.dmc.com/uk/point-de-marque-52-pattern-9004586.html

But it really depends how much time you have and who you're making it for! If you want to make it very personal, then think what their hobbies/interests are and search for patterns on braceletbook that relate to that. Also think if your friend would wear a bracelet, or if they might prefer a bookmark or a keyring or something else. For example, I made #20164 for my boyfriend because he loves poker. It's possibly too thick to wear as a bracelet, but that's fine because he wanted/needed a bookmark. Also it took a long time, but it was worth it because it was a joint bday+xmas present for him (but if it was for another friend's bday, I probably wouldn't have done something so time consuming)
