I wanna break up with my bf Bc I feel like he’s super controlling and just gets super jealous of me and some of my other guy friends that I’m super close with. Idk if I should break up or not but I just don’t think I’m happy with him anymore and I don’t feel right dating him if I’m not sure I like him. Also he just gets mad at me for hanging out with other guys at my school (me and him don’t go to the same school) but it’s like I have been friends with some of these people for years. What should I say? I really need help! But I feel bad breaking up with him Bc his mom passed away a year ago and he might use that as a reason and make me feel bad abt myself! Please help me on what I should do😭

i think you should tell him ur not happy being together w him anymore and u think it’s best for ur mental health that u guys break up bc then he can’t use that as a reason

Aw, I’m sorry! I'm 13 right now so this might not be the best advice, but if youre not happy with him and he is getting that jealous it might be best to take a break or just break up. Maybe try telling him that you think it would be best for both us to be alone for a little bit to deal with things happening right now. Idk if this helps but I hope you feel better.

Just do it.I was literally in the same situation (except he wasnt controlling he was more… ignoring me? Didn't really feel like we were dating) Just a tip: Dont and I repeat DONT get guilt tripped into staying. I dated a guy once and after we just got official, I came to the conclusion that I didn’t really like him at all. So I also felt guilty and almost sick thinking of meeting him again. I broke up with him the day after that and of course it was kind of harsh and he was sad, but it was a really good decision. At first it is always difficult to do something but if you really feel it then it is not going to change any time soon. So my advice would be to just break up and see how you feel.
