Why can't we change our usernames?

I want to change my username, and I could get a new account however im a bracelet king and I've made quite a few patterns, is there a way around this?

Admin said that it’s very difficult to give us the option to change our username, but he will make it possible some day

i like the idea, but imagine how confusing it would be if you wanted to find a specific user 🙂
