HEYYY! hey, i was wondering, that when someone asks what a hobby of yours is, or if you are telling someone what you do, do you call yourself a bracelet maker, a braceleteer, or anything else? i just would like a official ( or at least MORE official) name for ourselves. any ideas or anything would be awesome!

I just say I'm obsessed with making friendship bracelets... Which pretty much everyone already knows once they see the 4 or 5 bracelets I wear... On each arm. Lol

I don't always tie friendship bracelets. I like to do a lot of keychains, bookmarks, and stuff that is bigger than a bracelet. So, I don't call myself a bracelet-maker. As far as I know, any kind of knot work (including friendship bracelets) is called macrame (it's pronounced MAC-ra-MAY). So, I call myself a macrame artist. I like the way it sounds and it makes me feel super official!

Hemp art is macrame, but it's not limited to just hemp. The way I understand it, if you're tying knots with ANY material, you're doing macrame.

Haha I make pretty much ANY kind of bracelets... Hemp, embroidery floss, bead loom, rainbow loom, elastic and beads, and I make bookmarks, headbands, keychains and zipper pulls. I also do tons of other crafts so I pretty much just call myself an obsessed-crafter. And artist. And creative 🙂 haha

I usually just say I make friendship bracelets. But when I have them on maybe say at the mall, then random people think that I work there but anyway, yeah, I just say "Friendship Bracelet Maker"
