Schools starting up again so its that time!!! Use the space to yap about ur crushhhh (ik I said fangirl but I mean anyone) and how cute they are or give/ask for adviceI'll start: ok so its kinda new and maybe its gonna be nothing but I noticed him in one of my classes on the first day of school and we've talked the teeniest amount but then on Thursday he came up to me after class and ik this is the absolute nerdiest option possible but we talked about books!! lol one of my friends was nearby and I hadn't even mentioned him to her and she was giving me a ~look~ but I got his favorite book from the library today and i'm gonna start reading it tomorrow and I'm honestly so excited to see him again and show him that I'm reading it and talk about it. I haven't had a real crush in over a year and a half so its fun to do it again. I so hope we got to hoco together but its in 3 weeks so we might not |

Well, so long as the invitation is extended so that boys can play, too.There's an adorable barista at the service station on the way to my usual Tuesday night swap meet, and she doesn't even ask what I'd like any longer--she just takes the travel mug I bring her, and makes the magic happen. I guess I really need to mix it up on her one of these days; maybe asking instead for one of those Caramel Ralph Macchios so she doesn't get complacent... One of these days, contemplating gifting her #116839, if I can maybe suss out her favorite color for the background--not always the easiest thing to do with women in uniform (although I do love the way the strings on her apron hang ❤️). Gotta temper my enthusiasm with some discretion, though: she typically has two or three other coworkers, and I wouldn't want to drum up unnecessary resentment in the workspace by showing her any favoritism. |

It'd be more of a gesture of gratitude at the way she makes me feel special enough to be remembered like that. Besides, it's not as though they wouldn't've long ago noted the bracelets on the loop of the saddlebags slung over my shoulder like an arts & crafts Jesse James. Might even be good for business: a free sample just to get them addicted. 👍Yes, it can be tough to gauge how much such an employee would be interested in us (particularly in Thailand; famous for smiles), but it's not as though I'd be bringing her a dozen roses or anything. While there's no limit to how bad a situation can get, I figure the most likely scenario if I strike out would be her and everyone else in her group chat mercilessly tearing me to shreds, and that'll be the end of it until a bigger loser comes along to shoot his shot. Worst case scenario, it's not as though they're the only café in town. 😎 To channel my spirit animal (Disney's Robin Hood): "Faint heart never won fair coffee lady." 🏹 |

Can I just yap ab the stupid guys who like me??? So they are my two guy besties and I know for sure that one likes me but idk ab the other. I'm pretty sure he does tho. Last year one of them asked me to dance at the social last year (social=awkward middle school dance) and I told him no bc I don't like him like that. We got way less close bc it was awkward between us but we got close again and now he talks to me a lot and he looks really nervous when he does. The other guy is his best friend ( ikikik... If I dated one there would be problems... 😬). He sits next to me in English and is super easy to talk to and makes me laugh so hard. We fight ab which is better, floor or trombone alot and I'm pretty sure he like me. Anyway..... My complicated love life 😘 Oh btw I don't have a crush rn so at least I don't have to deal with that... |

@martha9999 gl dealing with that~~~~~~i have a slightly similar story that will probably make you laughso in sixth grade in gym we had to sit in rows called squadlines and me n the guy who sat behind me were friends so i would often turn around and chat with him. then in semester 2 his friends started teasing us and calling me his gf and it was very annoying bc it was like constant. that was my first hint that he might like me. the second wasn't really a hint. one day he says to me "(my name) i like you" you really nervously. my jaw drops my eyes widen and i sort of grimace in an awkward way. without saying anything i turn so that my back is to him. he goes MY FRIEND DARED ME and i go (voice crack squeaky) oOokK and then after once were released from our squad lines he hurriedly goes to his friend who supposedly dared him and then the friend goes to me and says "i dared him" and im like sure! lets go with that! i have another funny story abt a guy liking me if you wanna hear it |

Help it went before i was ready 🥀 anyways so last year was my freshman year un high school. I had previously liked a guy in middle school who was really mean and was super into one of my friends and made it very obvious he didn’t like me. Anyways so i started high school more focused on myself and then around hoco i started to like this one guy in my drumline (bc i do that haha.) anyways so him and i got to know each other as the year went on and we are really good friends. He’s arguably my closest guy friend (that’s not gay lol) anyways he is super nice and respectfuk towards women and just an overall gentleman. He also works out, super funny, super smart, and super talented at the drums. When we got back from Christmas break that’s when we got super close and started becoming really good friends. Around sometime in March i got his hoodie and then in may got it again but he asked for it back, and since he had been giving me mixed signals i took that as a “je doesn’t like me.” So over the summer, i went on a lot of trips and didn’t see him as much and got over him…or so i thought. He asked me to hoco this year (i am a sophomore now.) and at first i was annoyed bc i dIdNt want to go with the group bc they were a little strange and was worried it wouldn’t be fun but it was!! We went on the day date and that’s when i realized i was falling for him again. Hoco was super funn too there was one time i almost fell and he caught me by the waist 🤭 but anyways now I’m stuck in the same predicament as before bc i don’t want to ruin our friendship but i want something more. Also my friends talked to him and he didn’t disagree with not liking me but he also said he wasn’t ready for a relationship….so idkkk

oh my god so over the summer i did this program where i went to oxford university to study medical science (nerdy i know, and i'm only a freshman in high school too lol) but anyways some of us went to this shakespeare thing and i met this kid who was studying something else and i was like wow they're so cute and somehow i managed to talk to them and we went and got lunch together before the play and sat next to each other and exchanged numbers after and the rest of the program we'd see eachother every day and get lunch together or something and it was vaguely platonic but oh my god they held my hand on the last day and we hugged as we left and we've texted each other every day since but we live across the country from one another which sucks and i don't get crushes and neither do they we're both pretty queer and so we're in this unlabeled vaguely platonic relationship?? but we keep flirting and oh my god i don't know what's happening even. i might get to see them soon cuz i'll be near them during thanksgiving so i really hope that happens whether it's platonic or romantic or whatever it's just so wonderful and really the closest and best relationship i've ever really had, so i'm just super happy <3

For me, I just joined a new school this school year, and I have a crush on this really cute guy. He’s super nice, he talks to me a lot and he also plays the same sports as me. The problem is… I’m pretty sure he has a crush on one of my friends, and it’s soooooo annoying. I feel like he doesn’t notice me the way he does my friend, and I just wish he would.
