hi everyone! i’m currently a sophomore in high school and have known that i want to pursue a medical career for a while. i am in my schools hosa program and am on track to start taking college courses the fall semester of my junior year! (next school year) I’ve been doing lots of career research and have found a few careers that seem interesting but i’ve felt very drawn to oncology. i know that it is a lot of school and a very emotionally challenging job, but i just feel very passionate about it. i know i still have lots of time to decided and ill probably change my mind a million times lol. since i can start applying to colleges next year i need to start finding schools that will be job for me, not crazy expensive, and preferably not too far away (for money reasons & my parents choice lol) if anyone else is also interested in any healthcare careers, or work in healthcare i’d love to chat! |

ALSO!!! next year i can apply for my schools practicum & theory class and do clinicals at the hospital every morning during 1st and 2nd period. so that’s super exciting!!

Heyy! Nice to see someone else interested in medical careers! I'm currently in my final year of HS, and because I'm an Aussie, I'm doing a cert IV in Healthcare (kinda like an extra-curricular), before hopefully getting into University! Plan is to either go straight into Paramedicine, or jumping from Nursing to Paramedicine

I'm currently an Emergency Medical Responder (Advanced First Aider), and do work placement along side EMTs or Paramedics! So its a lot of assistance work!
