I would say knowing how to bump, set, spike, and serving and doing that well. And probably knowing what position you are going to want to play. And for like practicing you can pass to yourself or like hit the ball against a wall. Hope this helps ❤️

especially for tryouts, keep a positive attitude. coaches are watching more than just your skills, especially how you could fit in with the team. don’t get discouraged and keep trying! hustle for every ball, put your everything in, and you got it!
