reading normal patterns

i posted a video and got a comment on how they read their normal patterns by rows which was surprising because i thought u were supposed to read it by shape ?! now im curious on how many other people read it row by row

Depends on the type of pattern for me, if it can be done by shape then I might knot it that way. Anything intricate I tend to do row by row

I segment-knot normal patterns. I would only knot patterns with only or majorly fb and bf knots row by row. I know that knotting row by row can also be less confusing than segment knotting, if the pattern is very complex or you just can't figure out the segments.

@LupixSLoop @halokiwi ooo i never knew u could read normal patterns row by row I always js assumed u had to figure out how to segment knot all the difficult ones too 😓
