For the past couple years, been teaching myself piano. While I'm practicing, my mind tends to be on making bracelets. And when I'm making bracelets, I feel as though I should be practicing. *sigh* Retirement is tough...I have no delusions of adequacy or anything, but I tell myself that the skill will be a gift to myself when I really *am* a lonely old man. Not all that long ago, I could also play harmonica for about an hour and half without repeating (mostly since it was impractical to hop from foxhole to foxhole with a piano in one's pocket). I really oughta get that ability back again. |

@sarah01 I can easily see that--I hated pretty much every second of school (if it wasn't for girls and drama club, I'd've dropped out).As a flute player, I don't suppose you've got any wacky band camp tales to share? 😉 |

I know the general basic of guitar from music classes when I was in school, but it has been a while since then. 😅But it is a fun challenge and my family doesn't mind my practicing 🤪 |

Yes! I can play piano for ~3 yrs and I'm very talented at it 😄And ther are some cooool news: at Friday the 13th, there will be a Graduation ceremony for high school graduates and I play an duet with my brother instead of the school chorus (our chorus teacher has cancer 😭) And tomorrow my physics teacher (he organizes the thing with another teacher who gave me this idea) speaks about this with MY BROTHER!!! I'm mega excited and please wish me good luck!!! 😄 😄 |

@sarah01 thanks! I'm sorry about my teacher too, when I heard this I was sad in my inner feelings and the saddest moment of all was the last chorus lesson. We sat in the music room, our teacher turned the beamer on and we were watching pics and vids from our last show. After that, we went to the "Hübler" (an ice cream shop) and ate and spoke all together. Now, I sadly don't have chorus until 3rd grade... I know, that's so sad! 😭

I play the flute and I used to play the recorder. I played the recorder first and then started learning to play the flute afterwards.In school orchestra I used to play the timpani, but I wouldn't call myself a percussionist by any means. |

@sarah01 Pro-tip: The best way to check if the drum riser is level is whether or not the drool is coming out of *both* sides of the drummer's mouth. 👍

I play piano, clarinet, and a bit of oboe!! I’ve played piano for 9-10 years, clarinet for 4, and oboe for a few months, which I’m kinda tired of. But yeah! I’m also in the marching band and I love it so much!!

@GiuseppeK lol no, I play clarinet in it, but I could if I wanted to (it’s called synth in our band) but I would rather march 🙂
