Neurodivergent’s, what was your longest hyper fixation?My longest is a tie between roller coasters and appliances. Both have lasted about a decade and my fixation on roller coasters is still going strong. |

I have had a fascination with letters, words, books, etc. (hyperlexia) since before I could walk. So, that, I guess.All of my other special interests/hyperfixations relate to that main one in some way, and usually last me a few years. For example, my current fixation is the Sherlock Holmes stories and the language used within them. Oh yeah, and license plates. I like strings of numbers. 😂 |

the Spice Girls! As a preteen, I’d stay up until 5 or 6am during the summer doing anything Spice Girl related- drawing, singing, dancing, listening to their music. I’d devour any magazine that had anything to do with them.

les mis. i was the only thing i would talk about for maybe 18 months. i bought the book and would listen to the soundtrack every day. but now blur. it’s all i listen to and yap about. i have all their cds and i saw them live. i made a life size cardboard cut out of the lead singer and he’s still in my room. i have about 50 blur posters on my wall. they’re all i think about.
