Hullo, So my friend asked me if I see my dreams in black and white, or color. After thinking about it, I noticed I rarely see color in my dreams. Do y’all see color or black and white in your dreams |

I’m not too confident but I’m PRETTY SURE I see my dreams in color (when I recall my dreams I see them in color but I could be putting color in them and still sleep in black and white if that makes sense lol)

Same colours as I see them when I'm awake.... I just googled because dreams in black and white, this sounds just too weird to me. It seems that the colour of dreams is influenced by how we grew up. People who grew up back then when tv was black and white have a lot more dreams in black and white whereas people grown up with colour tv have mostly colour dreams. I grew up with just very little tv and no computer/mobile at all, which probably explains why I see everything in 'real life'. |

I see my dreams in color. Also, this isn't related but does anyone else sometimes have fully animated dreams? My dreams are mostly normal, but sometimes they are animated whether that be 2d or 3d animation. When I have those dreams I don't dream of cartoon characters I've seen before, its new characters that my dreams created.

i think both most of the time it’s in color. but sometimes it’s like dull colors like grey and brown if that makes sense. also do y’all dream in third or first person!

I dream in color but in some dreams more than others. @rumpleknot I dream on first person but sometimes in nightmares it is on third person.

@5torr that’s interesting... I remember having a black and white tv until the age of seven. That’s odd that it would have an effect on dreams

@GenMalucci It has to do with the development of the brain during childhood. Kinda creepy, who knows what we have done to our brains without even knowing! Or what we could have done if we just knew the right things. Well, I wouldn't be an Einstein anyway, I guess.
