Hi!! So, I have this idea for a 200x200 pattern (daunting, I know :[) but I'm having so much trouble with it since I keep ending up with colors so similar..? It doesn't look good, and I'm not experienced with making patterns so large. I've made patterns up to about 50x50, but that's a very different game from 200x200. So, with that being said, I reallyyyyy want to make the album cover "Selfish Machines" by Pierce the Veil! I really love that album and I have some sentimental value to it and I want to make it as a gift, but I just can't make this pattern for some reason. I've gotten semi far into it, but I just can't figure out small details..? I don't know. If anyone can help/wants to help/has any tips, PLEASE let me know!! Feel free to msg me personally too!! |

Would be willing to give it the ole college try, although this prompt during a cursory dry-run doesn't exactly give me a warm and/or fuzzy about things."Do you really want to add that big pattern? It's dimensions are 197x200. That can be a reason for moderators to decline it. If you want to submit the pattern in this state, please double-check if it's okay. Thank you." |

@GiuseppeK Yeahh, I know big patterns don’t often get accepted, so I did intend on emailing/contacting a mod beforehand! I just wanted to see if I could even attempt this as I’m struggling greatly. Since you’re interested though (which I appreciate more than anything!!) I’ll go on and contact a mod on the off chance this pattern will get made! Just wanna be sure. Thank you so much!! :]

For the most part, we've got ourselves a raw, simplified version that might pass muster with the mods in the specified dimensions (was kinda hoping one of them would've chimed in by now to give us some reassurance, but I guess we're not going to find out until I go to them cap in hand).Are there any areas of the image you especially want detail? I'll level with you: hair is a pain in the butt... |

@GiuseppeK Oh my goodness thank you so much for working on this for me!! Before I forget, a mod said that YES, this can be uploaded and posted, it just needs to be cleaned up well and done right, no unnecessary colors and whatnot!! But anyways, let me answer you!So, I kind of really wanted the two kids and the lantern to have the most detail and everything else is sort of just implied, you know? It's a dim album cover, so I'm not very worried about the trees in the back, or very fancy lettering. I think the lettering in the album has some sort of glowing effect, but I truthfully don't care much about that. I hope that helps!! If not, just let me know! I appreciate this more than you realize! |
